Join us for this in-person practical workshop, presented by John Contreras, an APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist and Strength and Conditioning coach. This workshop is designed to equip health and fitness professionals with the knowledge and skills to seamlessly integrate strength training principles into their patients' injury recovery programs.

During this comprehensive workshop, attendees will gain invaluable insights into the critical role strength training plays in optimizing and consolidating injury recovery. You will learn to design and coach strength training programs that facilitate patient recovery, develop health literacy, improve movement skills, and progress strength and fitness.

The workshop will guide you through clinical reasoning, program design, and implementation of a comprehensive strength training and athletic development regimen for various common musculoskeletal presentations. By exploring current rehabilitation and injury management guidelines, evidence-based exercises, and concepts of exercise prescription and program design, you will examine the integral role strength training plays within today’s healthcare model.

This course extends beyond the initial phases of injury management, delving into the use of strength training for facilitating return to activity and long-term musculoskeletal health. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your professional practice and empower your patients with effective, evidence-based strength training techniques.

This workshop is ideal for all health and fitness professionals routinely involved in the use of exercise therapy.
